Sandra Brown

Sandra Brown worked as an actress and television journalist before achieving success as an author with the novel »Trügerischer Spiegel«. Her breakthrough as a thriller writer came with »Die Zeugin«. She published more than 80 novels, over 70 of which appeared on the New York Times bestseller list. Her books have been translated into 34 languages, and several were adapted for television. In 2008, the International Thriller Writers Association named her a Thriller Master. She also received an honorary doctorate from Texas Christian University and served as president of the Mystery Writers of America.
