Samin Nosrat

Samin Nosrat is an American chef, cooking teacher, and author. She learned to cook at Alice Waters’s restaurant Chez Panisse and studied writing with Michael Pollan at the University of California, Berkeley. Nosrat worked as a food columnist for The New York Times and became known for her first book, *Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat*, an award-winning bestseller. She also appeared as the protagonist of the associated Netflix series.
