Sam Lubell

Sam Lubell is an American author and architecture journalist. He wrote several books on architecture, including *California Captured* and two guides to mid-century modern architecture in the United States. He served as the West Coast editor of *The Architect’s Newspaper* for eight years, covering architecture across the western United States. His writing appeared in, among other publications, *The New York Times*, the *Los Angeles Times*, *The Atlantic*, *Architectural Record*, *Architectural Digest*, *Dwell*, and *Wired*.
