Sam Kean

Sam Kean studied physics and English at the University of Minnesota and worked as a science journalist, including for The New York Times Magazine. His articles also appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Mental Floss, New Scientist, and Science Magazine. Kean is a multiple New York Times bestselling author and, in 2009, was named the best science writer under 30 by the U.S. National Association of Science Writers. His books present scientific discoveries in an engaging narrative style.
