Salome Benidze

Salome Benidze was born in 1986 in Kutaisi, Georgia. She studied journalism and political science in Tbilisi, Vilnius, and Thessaloniki. In 2012, she received the SABA Literary Prize for the best debut. Her prose collection “The City on the Water” was awarded the Tsinandali Prize for Best Prose Collection in 2016.
