Sahar Khalifa

Sahar Khalifa was born in 1941 in Nablus, Palestine. After a thirteen-year traditional marriage and subsequent divorce, she devoted herself more intensively to writing. She studied in the United States, worked as a lecturer at Birzeit University, and founded a Palestinian women’s center in Nablus. Khalifa is regarded as a Palestinian writer.
