Ryka Aoki

Ryka Aoki taught English literature at Santa Monica College and gender studies at Antioch University. Her novels, poetry, and essays received several awards, including the Lambda Literary Award. Her science fiction novel *Light from Uncommon Stars* was nominated for the Hugo Award in 2022.
