Ruth Wodak

Ruth Wodak was Emerita Distinguished Professor of Discourse Studies at Lancaster University and a full professor at the University of Vienna. She received the Wittgenstein Prize in 1996. Her distinctions included honorary doctorates from Örebro University (2010) and the University of Warwick (2020), as well as appointment as an honorary senator of the University of Vienna (2020). Her publications include *Die Politik der Angst. Die schamlose Normalisierung rechtspopulistischer Diskurse* (2021).
