Rosa Ribas

Rosa Ribas was born in 1963 and studied Hispanic studies in Barcelona. She has worked as a language teacher, editor and translator, and was a professor of Applied Spanish Studies at Heilbronn University. Ribas has published numerous novels, including the crime novels “Kalter Main,” “Tödliche Kampagne,” “Falsche Freundin” and “Sonst ist er tot.” In 2014, “Das Flüstern der Stadt” appeared as her first collaborative novel and the opening volume of a trilogy about 1950s Spain; “Die große Kälte” followed in 2016. The authors received the Valencia Negra Crime Festival Award for “Auf der anderen Seite der Ramblas.”
