Ron Schlesinger

Ron Schlesinger was born in Torgau on the Elbe in the former German Democratic Republic. He studied German, English and journalism at Leipzig University and Manchester Metropolitan University, and earned a doctorate in media studies from the Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. He worked as a freelance author and journalist. His publications include “Rotkäppchen im ‘Dritten Reich’” (2010), “Märchen im Medienwechsel” (2018, co-authored with Ute Dettmar and Claudia Maria Pecher), “’Führer’, Verräter, entwertete Väter” (2022) and “Märchen-Dia-Rollfilm in der DDR” (2024).
