Romy Hausmann

Romy Hausmann was born in Thuringia in 1981. Before beginning her writing career, she worked as an editorial manager at a Munich television production company, where she helped present people’s life stories on screen. Her thriller debut, »Liebes Kind«, was published in 2019, reached number one on the SPIEGEL bestseller list and received the Crime Cologne Award. It was followed by the thrillers »Marta schläft«, »Perfect Day« and »Himmelerdenblau«, as well as the nonfiction book »True Crime. Der Abgrund in dir«. Her poetry collection »Princess Standard«, set to music by Fortuna Ehrenfeld, was published in 2024. The Netflix adaptation of »Liebes Kind« received an International Emmy Award in 2024.
