Romalyn Tilghman

After earning a university degree in journalism, Romalyn Tilghman worked in arts and cultural development. She directed a cultural-development association in Kansas and later worked with rural arts organizations in different parts of the United States. Her debut novel, *Die Bücherfrauen*, became a surprise success for the independent publisher She Writes Press and received numerous awards.
