Roma Agrawal (born 1983 in Mumbai) is a physicist, civil engineer, author and broadcaster. She worked on the design and construction of structures including bridges, towers and London’s skyscraper The Shard. Her work received several awards, including the Women in Construction Award for Engineer of the Year (2014) and the Diamond Award for Engineering Excellence (2015). Her books include The Secret World of Structures, published in German as Die geheime Welt der Bauwerke (2018).
