Rolf Schlenker

Rolf Schlenker, born in Stuttgart in 1954, is a television and science journalist, documentary filmmaker, and nonfiction author. From 1988 onward, he worked for several public broadcasters; from 1999 to 2020, he was part of the culture and science department at Südwestrundfunk. His documentaries received several awards, including the Grimme Award. In 2014, he co-created and produced the ARD documentary series “Wo unser Wetter entsteht” with Sven Plöger. Together with Plöger, he also published the nonfiction books “Wo unser Wetter entsteht” and “Wie Wind unser Wetter bestimmt”.
