Rolf Dobelli (born 1966) studied business administration and earned a doctorate in philosophy from the University of St. Gallen. He subsequently served as CEO of several subsidiaries of Swissair. Together with friends, he founded a company specializing in condensed business literature. Dobelli has published novels and nonfiction. His best-known works include The Art of Thinking Clearly, The Art of Smart Action, and The Art of the Good Life, which have been translated into numerous languages. He also founded WORLD.MINDS, an international community for leading figures in science, culture, and business.
