Roland Kachler

Roland Kachler was a graduate psychologist, licensed psychological psychotherapist, and Protestant theologian. From 1990 to 2013, he headed a psychological counseling center in Esslingen and also worked with the State Office of Psychological Counseling Centers in Stuttgart. He was a certified transactional analyst, systemic couples therapist, and supervisor, and ran a private psychotherapeutic practice. His areas of focus included psychotherapy, couples and sex therapy, trauma therapy, and bereavement counseling and therapy. Kachler published numerous professional and self-help books. Following the death of his son, he developed his own approach to bereavement counseling.
