Roland Deines, born in 1961, received his doctorate in 1997 and completed his habilitation in 2003. Until 2016, he was Professor of New Testament at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. In 2017, he became Professor of Biblical Theology and Ancient Judaism at Internationale Hochschule Liebenzell.
