Roger Rhyner

Roger Rhyner was born in Glarus in 1971 and initially trained as an architectural draftsman. In 1996, he joined Radio Zürisee, where he worked as a presenter, music director and member of the executive management. As an author, he is particularly known for his scented and illuminated books, which add an additional sensory dimension to reading. Rhyner also created the character of Charly the billy goat. His publications include «Friedensduft», «Fisiguug – Gesichter in den Glarner Bergen», «glarnersagen» and «Brand von Glarus – Fotografien der Katastrophe 1861».
