Roger Penrose

Roger Penrose (born 1931 in Colchester, Essex) is a British mathematician and theoretical physicist. His research has focused on mathematical physics and cosmology. He has also published numerous popular science books on philosophical subjects. In 2020, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for predicting that black holes are a consequence of general relativity.
