Robyn Davidson

Robyn Davidson, born in 1950 on a cattle station in Queensland, Australia, is an Australian author. She studied biology, music and philosophy in Brisbane. In the late 1970s, she travelled to Alice Springs, the starting point of a journey she later described in a book. She subsequently undertook further extensive travels, including accompanying a nomadic people in northwestern India in the early 1990s.
