Robin Alexander, born in 1975, is a German journalist and author. He worked as an editor at the taz newspaper and as a reporter for Vanity Fair before joining the Welt publishing group in 2008. In 2013, he received the Theodor Wolff Prize. He became deputy editor-in-chief for politics at Welt in 2019. His books include Die Getriebenen. Merkel und die Flüchtlingspolitik (2017) and Machtverfall (2021). Die Getriebenen served as the basis for an ARD documentary drama of the same title.
