Robby Hunke is a German sports reporter and presenter. After studying sports journalism at the German Sport University Cologne, he began working as a Bundesliga reporter for WDR in 2009, becoming the youngest commentator on the television programme Sportschau. Until 2021, he regularly commentated on top Bundesliga matches. In 2017, he received a television award for sports journalism for one of his reports. Hunke has also worked as a football presenter and commentator and as a voice-over artist. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, he became internationally known for videos as a “commentator in quarantine,” which went viral on social media.
