Rita Falk

Rita Falk, born in Oberammergau in 1964, is a German author. She is best known for her provincial crime novels featuring village police officer Franz Eberhofer. Her other novels include Hannes and Funkenflieger. In 2023, she received the Bavarian Order of Merit for the wry yet affectionate portrayal of her Bavarian homeland in the Eberhofer crime series.
