Rin Usami

Rin Usami, born in 1999 in Shizuoka Prefecture, is a Japanese author. She began writing novels while still in high school. Her debut novel received the Yukio Mishima Prize, making her the youngest recipient in the prize’s history. In 2020, she won the prestigious Akutagawa Prize for »Idol in Flammen«.
