Rike Schmid

Rike Schmid, born in Hanover in 1979, became known to a broad television audience for her leading role in the ZDF series »Der Fürst und das Mädchen«. Her other film and television credits include »Wir«, which received the Max Ophüls Award, as well as »Die Augenzeugin«, »Baal« and »Schwere Jungs«. She also worked as an audiobook narrator. As an author, she published the scholarly work »Schauspielerinnen. Die Suche nach weiblicher Identität« in 2011 and »Nimm mich mit nach Gestern« in 2015, based on a correspondence with her 89-year-old colleague Renate Delfs.
