Richard Swan

Richard Swan is a British fantasy and science-fiction author. Born in North Yorkshire, he spent his youth on Royal Air Force bases in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. After studying law at the University of Manchester, he qualified as a solicitor in 2011 and worked for around ten years in commercial litigation before turning to writing. His fantasy debut, The Justice of Kings (German: Im Namen des Wolfes), became a Sunday Times bestseller and was translated into nine languages. His other works include the trilogies The Last Prophecy and Art of War, as well as contributions to Black Library and Grimdark Magazine.
