Renate Dorrestein

Renate Dorrestein was born in Amsterdam in 1954. The Dutch author worked as a journalist before publishing numerous novels. Her books appeared in translation in countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Finland, Sweden and France. She received several awards for her literary work. Among her published books is “Alles voller Hoffnung.” Dorrestein grew up in a Roman Catholic family and decided at an early age that she wanted to become a writer.
