Remo Kroll

Born in Burg bei Magdeburg, Remo Kroll worked as a police commissioner with the Berlin police. As an author and co-editor, he focused on the history of criminal investigation and homicide investigations in the GDR. He co-edited the series “Polizei. Studien zur Geschichte der Verbrechensbekämpfung”. His publications include “Die Kriminalpolizei im Ostteil Berlins 1945–1990” (2012) and, with Ingo Wirth, “Morduntersuchung in der DDR” (2014). Together with Frank-Rainer Schurich, he also published several books on authentic criminal cases from the GDR.
