Regis Loisel

Régis Loisel, born in 1951 in Saint-Maixent in western France, is a French comics artist. In the early 1970s, he was introduced to writer Serge Le Tendre, with whom he developed the fantasy series The Quest for the Time-Bird from 1975 onward. Its first published episode appeared in 1982, and the series became Loisel’s best-known work. From 1990, he also created the series Peter Pan from his own script, drawing on motifs from J. M. Barrie.
