Reginald Hill

Reginald Hill (1936–2012) was a British crime writer. He grew up in Cumbria in northern England and became best known for his novels featuring the detectives Dalziel and Pascoe, most of which are set in Yorkshire. His work received numerous awards, including the Crime Writers’ Association’s Diamond Dagger for lifetime achievement in 1995.
