Regina E. G. Schymiczek

Regina E. G. Schymiczek (born 1961 in Essen) is an art historian, archaeologist, and author. Her dissertation examined the development of gargoyle forms at Cologne Cathedral. She has published scholarly books and articles, children’s books, historical and urban fantasy novels, short stories, and contributions to anthologies. Her historical novel “Hildegundis und die Kinderkrone” was nominated for the 2015 UNKNOWN Book Award. Her short story “Trauerschilf,” published under the pseudonym Ray Silver, received a Buchjournal award in 2015.
