Rebecca Ryman

Rebecca Ryman was the pseudonym of an author born in India who spent much of her life there. She died in Kolkata in 2003. Her novels *Wer Liebe verspricht*, *Wer Dornen sät* and *Shalimar*, published by Fischer Taschenbuch Verlag, made her a bestselling author in Germany and internationally.
