Rainer Stamm

Rainer Stamm (born 1967) is an art historian and literary scholar. From 2000 to 2010, he directed the Böttcherstraße art collections, including the Paula Modersohn-Becker Museum, in Bremen. He subsequently served as director of the Landesmuseum Kunst & Kultur Oldenburg until 2024, where he was responsible for around 80 exhibitions. In 2024, he took over the direction of the Osthaus Museum Hagen. His research focuses on modern art, particularly classical modernism, and the history of the art trade and museums.
