Raina Telgemeier

Raina Telgemeier is an American cartoonist and author. She became known for realistic, partly autobiographical graphic novels such as *Smile*, *Sisters*, and *Guts*, as well as *Drama* and *Ghosts*. She received multiple Eisner Awards for her autobiographical comics. Telgemeier also adapted and illustrated the first four graphic novels based on *The Baby-Sitters Club*. Her works have repeatedly appeared on the New York Times bestseller list.
