Rahaf Mohammed

Rahaf Mohammed was born in Saudi Arabia in 2000 and became known as a Saudi activist. At the age of 18, she fled her country during a family trip. After being detained in Bangkok, she drew international attention to her situation through a newly opened Twitter account and subsequently received asylum. Her case brought attention to the situation of women and girls in Saudi Arabia.
