Rafael Seligmann, born in Israel in 1947, is a German-Jewish author, historian, political scientist and journalist. After an apprenticeship as a craftsman, he studied contemporary history and political science and earned a doctorate on Israel’s security policy. He subsequently worked, among other roles, as an academic adviser at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, as a journalist and as an editor-in-chief. Seligmann has written novels, analyses of contemporary history and nonfiction. His best-known works include the novels “Der Musterjude” and “Der Milchmann” and the nonfiction book “Hitler. Die Deutschen und ihr Führer”. He founded the magazine “Jewish Voice from Germany” and served as its editor.
