R.A. Salvatore

R. A. Salvatore was born in Massachusetts in 1959. He gained recognition as a writer with his debut novel, The Crystal Shard, which launched his successful series about the dark elf Drizzt Do’Urden. His fantasy novels are particularly known for their detailed depictions of combat.
