R.A. Salvatore

R. A. Salvatore was born in Massachusetts in 1959. He became known as a writer through his first novel, The Crystal Shard, which laid the foundation for his series about the dark elf Drizzt Do’Urden. His fantasy novels are particularly noted for their detailed depictions of combat.
