Prof. Dr. Andreas Michalsen

Prof. Dr. med. Andreas Michalsen, born in 1961 in Bad Waldsee, Germany, is an internist, nutritionist, and fasting physician. His professional positions have included a professorship in clinical naturopathy at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the leadership of the Department of Internal Medicine and Naturopathy at Immanuel Hospital Berlin. His main areas of expertise include nutritional medicine, therapeutic fasting, and mind-body medicine. Michalsen is the son of a Kneipp physician. His books include “Heilen mit der Kraft der Natur” and “Mit Ernährung heilen. Besser essen – einfach fasten – länger leben”.
