Preethi Nair

Preethi Nair was born in Kerala, southern India, in 1971 and grew up in London. She worked for many years as a management consultant before leaving that profession to become a writer. Her novels include *One Hundred Shades of White*, *The Colour of Love* and *The Alphabet of Love*; the German catalog lists the latter works as *Koriandergrün und Safranrot*, *Der Duft der Farben* and *Die Freischwimmerin*. *Die Freischwimmerin* was originally conceived as a play and one-woman show.
