Piet de Moor

Piet de Moor (born 1950 in Belgium) is an author and journalist. His works include the essay and reportage collections »Der gestiefelte Gott« (2003) and »Stimmen aus Mitteleuropa« (2005), as well as the novels »Hotel Silesia« (2008) and »Der Adamit« (2010). In 2016 he published the nonfiction book »Berlin. Leben in einer gespaltenen Stadt«, followed in 2024 by the essay »Mit Kafka in Berlin«. In the 1970s, de Moor lived in West Berlin for two years and traveled to Russia, other parts of Central Europe, and the Balkans.
