Pia Volk

Pia Volk studied geography and ethnology and completed a journalism degree. She works as a geographer, ethnologist, and journalist. Her writing has appeared in publications including the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, Süddeutsche Zeitung, and DIE ZEIT. She has also been heard as a narrator on Deutschlandfunk Nova. Her research focuses on extraordinary people as well as unusual places and stories.
