Philipp Sandner is a professor of finance who headed the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center (FSBC) at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, founded in February 2017. His areas of expertise include blockchain, crypto assets, distributed ledger technology, initial coin offerings, security tokens, digitalization, and entrepreneurship. Sandner was a co-founder of the Blockchain Bundesverband and the International Token Standardization Association (ITSA). In 2018, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung listed him among Germany’s “Top 30” economists, and Capital magazine included him among its “Top 40 Under 40.”
