Philip Norman

Philip Norman (born 1943) worked as a music journalist, including for the Sunday Times. He became known for SHOUT!, his biography of the Beatles, which was a bestseller. He went on to write biographies of John Lennon, Elton John and Mick Jagger; his 2008 biography of John Lennon is among his notable works. Norman also wrote novels and plays.
