Petra Mattfeldt

Petra Mattfeldt is a German author. After training as a legal and notarial assistant, she worked as a freelance journalist before making writing her main profession. She has published under her own name and under several pseudonyms, including Caren Benedikt, the name under which several historical novels appeared. Her works include the historical novel *München 72* and the crime novel *Sekundentod*, the first book in the series featuring profiler Falko Cornelsen. Her books have been listed as SPIEGEL and Bild bestsellers.
