Peter Taaffe (born 1942) is a British socialist and author of political, historical and contemporary texts and articles. He served for many years as secretary of the Socialist Party in England and Wales, formerly known as Militant. In 1974, he was a co-founder of the Committee for a Workers’ International (CWI).
