Peter Huth

Peter Huth grew up in Kleve and initially worked as a journalist in Halle an der Saale after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Further professional stops took him to Cologne, Hamburg, Warsaw, and Berlin. He published his first book, *Infarkt*, in 2003 and received the Hamburg Literature Advancement Award the following year. His novels include *Der Honigmann* and *Aufsteiger*; he has also written on politics, society, and culture.
