Peter Henningsen

Peter Henningsen (born 1959) is a physician and professor of psychosomatic medicine. He served as director of the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine at the Klinikum rechts der Isar of the Technical University of Munich and as dean of the TUM School of Medicine from 2010 to 2019. His medical specialties include psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, as well as neurology and psychiatry. His research has focused on functional bodily symptoms. His publications include “Allgemeine Psychosomatische Medizin. Krankheiten des verkörperten Selbst im 21. Jahrhundert” (2021).
