Peter Freund

Peter Freund (born 1952) studied journalism, political science and sociology. During his studies, he worked as a freelance journalist for the German newspaper Der Tagesspiegel and the broadcaster Sender Freies Berlin. From 1980 onward, he worked in the film and television industry, initially managing cinemas, later working in film distribution and, from 1993, as a producer. He also worked as a writer and dramaturg on numerous television series and films. He became particularly known for the fantasy series Laura Leander, which was published in 22 countries. Another fantasy series by Freund is Guardians of Secret Powers.
