Peter Frankopan

Peter Frankopan (born 1971) is a historian and professor of global history at the University of Oxford. His best-known works include *The Silk Roads: A New History of the World* (2016) and *The New Silk Roads* (2019). Both books examine global historical and geopolitical developments and received international attention.
